So my husband's car got impounded on Tuesday because we let the tag expire. This was totally our fault, because we forgot that it had to be done. Luckily, I was able to switch my Thursday off for Wednesday so that I could pull it out of impound. This required some 6 hrs of legwork back and forth across town in 90 degree heat with no a/c in my car. Blech.
That's taken care of, though.
What's not is this: my car was broken into last night! They broke out one of the rear windows, and stole my cd player and my fuzz buster. Not so worried about the fuzz buster, although it sucks, but it's going to cost in the ballpark of $400 to get my window replaced and a new cd player. This will have to wait until Monday, as this is Oklahoma and everything's closed on Sunday.
So, not much knitting news, because this has been a bad car week.
