Yule Tidings

So today marks Yule and the Winter Solstice was over today. From here on out, the days will get longer and longer into spring and the summer. For those of us who are continually cold and find that the frost that comes with the extended nights is unwelcome and slightly depressing as we are driven inside...this day is comforting.

Tonight is an affirmation as tonight will be shorter than last night that longer days and warmer skies await us. Sometimes it's hard to stop and take time to notice this in the climate controlled world that most of us live in. Take a little bit of time next time that you're outside and breathe in a deep breath of the frosty air. If you find it uncomfortable, be glad that soon the hot summer days will arrive and if you find it pleasant, enjoy the chilly air while it's here.

Rick and I hope that everyone has a chance this Holiday season to spend some nice time with your families while staying warm.
